Su Xun clenched his fists tightly and his veins popped out.
He watched as several people huddled together looking nervous and fearful as they approached.
They appeared like evil spirits sent from hell to claim their souls.
"Bo... Boss..." They stammered and called out.
Su Xun's lips curled slightly as he gave a sardonic smile. He raised his foot and kicked the trembling ZZ forcefully.
"Boss!"
The others couldn't believe their eyes and rushed to stop Su Xun from taking any more action desperately trying to restrain him.
"Boss, it couldn't have been ZZ, there must be some misunderstanding."
"It wasn't him? Then who else could it be besides the four of you, the coach,
and the manager who knew about my relationship with Luo Liyan?"
"We don't know, but doing this doesn't benefit us or LAS in any way." Duo Ge solemnly said. "As for ZZ..."
"Do you think you guys living together day in and day out hasn't caused you to complain about me privately?" Su Xun questioned them one by one leaving them speechless.
If this exposé had indeed come from a member of the LAS team, ZZ was the most likely suspect. After all Su Xun's return had pushed him from a starting position to a substitute role which meant he was relegated to the bench. He would not only be three years behind in participating in major competitions,
but his salary would be reduced to the basic minimum, which was only a few thousand yuan per month.
Despite having the technical skill to play, the state of LAS and the constant string of losses meant that they would likely have to compete in a relegation match soon. ZZ knew the situation very well.
"Why are you doing this?" Jifeng glared at ZZ.
"Why?" ZZ suddenly laughed. "Because he doesn't deserve it! He doesn't deserve to be called 'Co-God' by everyone to stand on the LPL stage or to compete at the S Worlds stage."
"Who says you deserve it?" Jiason kicked him in anger.
"Ouch!" ZZ cried out in pain. "I know my skills aren't good enough. But I wholeheartedly love this competitive field and I want to bring glory to everyone. But him...”
ZZ pointed at Su Xun. "He might be talented but he prioritizes any woman over professional esports. Do you know how many people's hearts were broken by his sleepwalking in S8? I thought he was just nervous and didn't perform well on such a big stage. How many people went crazy for him in S9, but he just left without caring about how the foreign media mocked us for match-fixing or that we couldn't handle a loss? All of this happened just because of a woman! He has no right to return to this stage. If he left, he should have left for good. This is everyone's dream not a tool for him to win over a woman!"
"What woman? What are you talking about?"
A clear bird-like female voice suddenly echoed filled with a touch of confusion. It startled everyone causing them to freeze as if the apocalypse had just arrived.
