Behind him, Zhen'er tugged at his father's clothes, looking around anxiously. His once beautiful and adorable face was now full of distress, her eyes red and swollen from crying for a long time.
"Wuuu... It's all my fault. If it weren't for me wanting to see the lanterns, sister wouldn't have gotten lost, wuuu!"
Xin'er 's face was full of self-blame, wishing she could slap herself hard.
"Don't cry, both of you. Sister Yan is a good person, and heaven will protect her. Maybe she got swept away by the crowd and is also looking for us everywhere!"
Li Yan hugged Xin'er 's shoulder, consoling her softly, but her eyes were filled with deep concern.
At this moment, Li Zhong hurriedly walked over from nearby and urgently said to Mo Qingze, "Qingze, just now, an official said that many of the missing people are in the restaurant ahead. Let's go and take a look. Maybe Yan'er is there."

"Master Mo, is Miss Yan'er missing?"
Seeing Mo Qingze in a state of panic, Xiao Ruiyuan's voice, cold as ice, carried a hint of gentleness.
Mo Qingze snapped out of it and, regardless of the man's status, grabbed Xiao Ruiyuan's arm as if grasping a lifeline, his words incoherent, "Yan'er is missing. Brother Xiao, have you seen Yan'er? Is she in the restaurant ahead? I've searched everywhere, but I couldn't find her. Is she in there?"
Upon confirming that the beloved sister who always smiled and loved her siblings was indeed missing, Xiao Ruiyuan's eyes hardened, and his chest throbbed painfully.
Seeing Mo Qingze's abnormal state, Xiao Ruiyuan suppressed the unease in his heart and tried to comfort him, saying, "Master Mo, don't worry. Miss Yan isn't in the restaurant for now. I'll immediately send more people to search everywhere. You go to the restaurant and wait. Once there's news, I'll inform you immediately."
Upon hearing that his daughter wasn't in the restaurant, Mo Qingze almost collapsed. He grabbed his hair fiercely, tears welling up in his eyes.
Xiao Ruiyuan frowned, unsure of how to comfort him. Seeing Xin'er and her brother running over, he said in a low voice, "Quick, take your father to the restaurant ahead and wait for news. It's chaotic here. Don't wander around, understand?"
Most of those who were lost were teenage girls and young children, and not one had been found. Xiao Ruiyuan suspected that this chaos wasn't simple. Someone might have deliberately caused it and taken these girls for some sinister purpose, but he couldn't tell the Mo family.
The siblings wiped their tears hastily and nodded quickly.
Zhen'er tightly held Xiao Ruiyuan's hand, her voice filled with heavy sobs, "Big brother, are you a general? Do you have many soldiers under your command? Can you send more soldiers to find my sister? As long as you help me find my sister, I'll do anything. I can't do anything now, but I promise I'll be able to when I grow up."
His childish yet determined promise touched Xiao Ruiyuan's long-hardened heart slightly. Looking into Zhen'er's sincere eyes, he instinctively reached out with his somewhat cold hand and awkwardly patted her head, his deep voice solemnly promising, "Big brother will definitely find your sister."
