Chapter 115: Is Xiao Fu Bao Disliked? The Whole City Loves Me With Their Lives

**Chapter 115: Watching Sister Eat**

When Qi Wangfei returned to the main courtyard, she learned that Suisui had woken up. The little girl didn’t have a grumpy demeanor; her past living conditions ensured that she couldn’t afford such luxuries.

After quickly washing up, she sat patiently on the bedside, waiting for her mother.

Hearing that her daughter was being so obedient made Qi Wangfei’s heart melt even before she entered the room. She quickened her pace and soon walked in.

Suisui had been sitting there, listening to Nuandong chat with her. As soon as she heard footsteps and saw her mother, she joyfully jumped off the bed and rushed over. “Mother!”

At that moment, Suisui resembled a lively little bird, flitting over with excitement. Her small, frail frame tugged at the heartstrings, but her bright smile was incredibly healing.

Qi Wangfei scooped her up, weighing her gently. “You need to eat more; why aren’t you gaining weight?”

Physician Liu had taken good care of her during the journey, but the bumps along the way meant that she hadn’t put on much weight in just two days.

Qi Wangfei felt an overwhelming urge to transfer some of Feng Xuanrui’s weight to Suisui, wanting her to look a bit healthier.

Now that Suisui was awake and seeing her mother, she was a bit clingy, nestling her small body against Qi Wangfei's neck, wrapping her tiny arms around her.

Feeling Suisui’s dependence, Qi Wangfei held her a bit tighter, afraid she might drop the little one.

Suisui, sensing her mother’s embrace, spoke softly, “I will gain weight, and be strong like my brother!”

Qi Wangfei smiled at her words. “Yes, you will grow up just like your brother. Are you hungry?”

Having napped through lunch, Suisui nodded obediently. “A little hungry.”

The softness in her voice made Qi Wangfei’s heart ache.

Feng Xuanrui and the others had already finished eating, and since Qi Wangfei didn’t want them to wait, they were about to head out for their riding and archery lessons after a brief rest.

As Qi Wangfei entered with Suisui, the boys were just about to leave. Upon seeing their sister, their eyes widened in various degrees of surprise.

Feng Xuanrui was the quickest to react, rushing over to grab her. However, Qi Wangfei swiftly intervened. “Be gentle; you’ll hurt her.”

Feng Xuanrui complied but didn’t stop reaching out, just lightening his grip. Suisui, seeing her brother’s persistence, reached her hands out as well, and Qi Wangfei felt a mix of sweetness and helplessness.

Eventually, she had no choice but to pass Suisui to Feng Xuanrui.

Elated, he hugged his sister tightly. Unfortunately, after more than a month without strength training, he couldn’t hold her for long, and as a half-grown boy, he wasn’t exactly skilled at holding a child.

Despite previous guidance from Physician Liu, his grip was awkward, and Suisui felt more like a stick than a little girl in his arms.

Qi Wangfei didn’t want to disturb them since Suisui didn’t complain about being uncomfortable, but she gently reminded, “Suisui hasn’t eaten yet.”

With the boys having finished their meals, new plates would need to be brought in for Qi Wangfei and Suisui.

As soon as Feng Xuanrui heard this, he took Suisui’s hand and led her back to the table. Feng Xuanbin, having struggled to get close, suddenly pushed his head in, exclaiming, “I’ll feed my sister! I can do it!”

Feng Xuanbo, not one to let him in, pushed his head back out with no mercy.

“Let go of me, Fifth Brother! Let me out!” Feng Xuanbin cried, shaking his head in protest but ultimately losing to Feng Xuanbo's strength.

Despite being slender, Feng Xuanbo had a surprisingly strong build, easily pinning Feng Xuanbin back.

Determined not to give up, Feng Xuanbin wriggled and squirmed, but after struggling with no success, he was ultimately pushed out of the circle by Feng Xuancong.

“Hey! You guys are too much!” Feng Xuanbin exclaimed, feeling a bit aggrieved.

Suisui couldn’t help but giggle at her brother’s antics, leaning against his shoulder, which made Feng Xuanbin smile despite his earlier frustrations.

The siblings, having finished their meals and seeing Suisui arrive, weren’t in a rush to leave. To avoid disrupting her, they all sat in a row around her, watching her eat.

No way could one person feed her; they had to take turns. With one sister and five brothers, Suisui needed at least four more mouths to keep up!

In the end, the fuss led to Suisui eating on her own.

Feng Xuanrui was dissatisfied with this outcome and shot an annoyed glare at Feng Xuanbo, feeling that the Fifth Brother was too crafty and decided never to befriend him again!

Then he recalled that by the end of the month, their eldest and second brothers would return from the academy.

The second brother was easy to handle—just a thoughtless brute. But the eldest…

Feng Xuanrui felt both respect and fear toward his elder brother, knowing he wouldn’t stand a chance against him.

In the end, he dreaded the extra competition for their sister’s affection.

As he sat there watching Suisui eat, her cheeks puffed adorably, he thought, Maybe I should take out a few more brothers ahead of time!

But they were family, after all, and he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Ah! Having too many brothers was indeed a headache.

Suisui was served minced meat and steamed egg custard, a soft and nutritious dish easy for her to digest.

She enjoyed it greatly, just having taken a big bite when she noticed Feng Xuanrui sighing as he watched her eat.

Confused, she swallowed and asked quietly, “Brother, what’s wrong?”

Not wanting to disturb her meal, Feng Xuanrui merely shook his head. “Just thinking about this afternoon’s lessons.”

The afternoon involved mostly physical training—riding and archery—geared more towards the boys' strength.

Suisui, who actually liked such activities, perked up. “I know! I saw it yesterday! You’re the strongest brother!”

At her words, four pairs of eyes turned on her, filled with a mix of heat and dissatisfaction.

Suisui: ?

Was this a case of mistaken identity?
