**Chapter 104: Report to the Teacher, Little Seven Skipped Class**

Haitang, quick-witted and agile, managed to catch Feng Xuanbin before he fell to the ground, saving the chubby boy from landing hard.

Suisui was startled by the commotion, but with her small arms, she couldn't reach him.

After Feng Xuanbin regained his composure, he puffed out his chest and said seriously, “It was just a small mistake, nothing serious. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes.”

This sounded similar to what Lele had said before. After a moment’s thought, Suisui understood and nodded, “What Seventh Brother said is right!”

Feng Xuanrui thought Little Seven would return soon after skipping class. However, after finishing a bag of arrows, he realized that Feng Xuanbin was still absent.

Turning around, Feng Xuanrui’s frustration was palpable. Little Seven was playing with his sister instead of attending class!

Fuming, Feng Xuanrui glared at Feng Xuanbin from afar, though the distance made it impossible for anyone to see.

Finally, unable to contain his irritation, Feng Xuanrui turned to the teacher and reported, “Teacher, Little Seven skipped class!”

He made sure to speak loudly enough so that Feng Xuanbin, who was still showing off his archery skills to Suisui, could hear him.

Upon hearing the shout, Feng Xuanbin immediately responded loudly, “I didn’t! I didn’t skip class, I just wandered a bit!”

As he spoke, Feng Xuanbin ran back to his place with a noticeable thud, as if shaking the ground with his steps.

Teacher Shen, who only had five children in total, could easily notice when one was missing. It was a simple matter to notice.

Now that Feng Xuanrui had exposed him, Teacher Shen could only turn and say sternly, “Focus on your class and don’t wander off.”

In front of the teacher, Feng Xuanbin was quite obedient: “I understand, Teacher. I won’t do it again.”

Teacher Shen: ...

Whether or not he believed them was another matter.

The archery lesson continued.

Except for Feng Xuancang, who was more advanced, the others were still at the beginning stage and hadn’t yet tried riding.

After a short break, they moved on to the next lesson, horseback riding.

For those who couldn’t manage riding, like the younger Feng Xuanbin, riding a donkey was an option.

Though Feng Xuanbin couldn’t even manage riding a donkey.

But this didn’t stop him from bragging to Suisui: “Believe in Seventh Brother, Seventh Brother is the best!”

The chubby boy was very talkative and loud.

Suisui found the noise overwhelming and was a bit scared. She anxiously asked the system.

【Lele, I’m not going deaf, am I?】

The system scanned and reassured her gently.

【No, it’s just loud. You’ll get used to it.】

Relieved that she wasn’t going deaf, Suisui felt better.

After watching for a while, Qi Wangfei worried that if they stayed there, the children wouldn’t be able to focus on their class. So she took Suisui ’s hand and walked back.

On the way, Qi Wangfei softly asked Suisui, “Are you thirsty? Would you like something to drink? Aunt Qiu made some delicious milk and red bean soup. It should still be warm. Would you like to try it?”

Qi Wangfei’s mention made Suisui’s mouth water.

She quietly swallowed and nodded obediently, “Yes, Mother!”

Seeing the little girl’s adorable look, Qi Wangfei couldn’t help but pat her head, “Let’s go back and have some milk.”

After their nap, Aunt Qiu prepared everything and started cooking the milk and red bean soup.

It was already simmered to perfection, slightly cooled, and ready to drink comfortably without any stomach upset for the children.

Additionally, to ensure Suisui wasn’t hungry, Aunt Qiu prepared two pieces of sweet cake.

Considering Suisui ’s digestion, Aunt Qiu used regular rice instead of glutinous rice for the cakes.

Feng Xuanrui, after riding a small horse around happily, was preparing to show his sister the true prowess of a rider.

As for silly Seventh Brother...

He was no match!

However, when he reached the edge of the field, he realized...

Where’s my sister?

Where could she be?

Disappointed that his sister was with their mother, Feng Xuanrui had no choice but to turn back when the teacher called him.

The milk and red bean soup was sweetened with a bit of sugar and honey after it had cooled.

It was sweet, with red beans cooked until they were soft and creamy. When sipped, the mixture of creamy milk and sweet red beans was smooth and delightful.

Suisui ’s eyes widened with delight after taking a sip. She looked up at Qi Wangfei and said, “Mother, it’s so delicious! This is even better than yesterday’s milk and jujube soup!”

Though she didn’t voice it, she was thoroughly satisfied with the taste.

Qi Wangfei, who usually preferred lighter flavors and wasn’t fond of sweet soups, was tempted by Suisui’s reaction. She took a sip herself.

Maybe it was because Suisui praised it, but the sweet soup didn’t taste as cloying as she had anticipated.

Seeing Suisui’s eager eyes, Qi Wangfei smiled and nodded, “It’s good, Suisui. Drink more, and would you like to have a piece of sweet cake?”

Worried that Suisui might overindulge and not eat properly at dinner, Qi Wangfei quickly added, “Just one or two pieces are fine. Remember to eat a proper dinner later.”

Suisui nodded obediently and had only one piece of sweet cake.

The sweetness of the cake, compared to the rich red bean soup, seemed ordinary.

Suisui ate every crumb, leaving no trace behind.

Qi Wangfei, watching her, felt a pang of sadness.

She wanted to curse the Marquis of Jinyang in her heart but couldn’t come up with the right words, as she rarely used such language.

In the end, she just clenched her fist in silent frustration.

Suisui, being small, ate slowly.

Qi Wangfei wasn’t in a hurry, letting the little one take her time.

By the time Suisui finished the bowl of red bean soup, the afternoon lesson was over.

The afternoon archery and riding lessons usually lasted about half an hour, sometimes a little longer.

Teacher Shen believed that since the prince had no intention of training his sons as warriors, a less rigorous training regimen was acceptable. More often, playing and activities were part of their development.

Teacher Shen’s educational philosophy was quite progressive.

After the young masters cleaned up from their activities, they looked refreshed.

Qi Wangfei was helping Suisui clean her mouth.

Seeing her brothers return, Suisui happily raised her little feet and called out, “Brothers!”
