"Can we dig a well in the courtyard?" Ye Muyu asked.


Wang Chuan nodded, "Yes, we can. At that time our family's residence wasn't far from here and since this was just a shop, we didn't spend extra money on digging a well. Besides, there's a public well not far from here, just two corners away. However, in winter fetching water from the public well can be very cold and it's not as convenient as having your own well."
