Ye Muyu nodded gently "Young Master Wang, please have a seat."


"Sister-in-law, you can just call me Wang Chuan," he said modestly. His gentle nature made his words particularly comforting.

"Please, take a seat." Ye Muyu gestured, extending her hand.


Wang Chuan gracefully took a seat, occupying only half of the chair. His back naturally straightened, displaying a humble and respectful demeanor.


"Thank you, Sister-in-law. I won't stand on ceremony." Wang Chuan said.


With a warm smile, Ye Muyu replied "I apologize but my husband is attending classes at the county school and he might not be able to return promptly."


"Sister-in-law, you're worrying too much. I've already visited Chu Heng-ge at the county school and expressed my gratitude. He told me that as long as you're at home, I could come here to convey my thanks." Wang Chuan said considerately. Before coming, he had visited Chu Heng, and Chu Heng had instructed him to visit Ye Muyu.


Ye Muyu instantly understood Chu Heng's intention. He was persistent in his actions.


She couldn't help but smile faintly. Fortunately, Hu Shi brought in some tea.


She poured tea for Wang Chuan, and Hu Shi also brought in some pastries.


"Please enjoy the tea." Ye Muyu said.


Wang Chuan nodded and took a sip, praising, "Before coming, Uncle Lin mentioned that Sister Ye is excellent at making tea. This tea has a refreshing taste that I find quite pleasant."


"This is nothing precious. It's called winter melon tea. It's just refreshing, and I've read in medical books that it can help cool off in the summer. It's suitable for this season. I hope you don't mind." Ye Muyu explained modestly.


Wang Chuan was genuinely surprised, "I didn't expect it to be winter melon tea. Sister-in-law is indeed knowledgeable and versatile."


"To describe me as knowledgeable and versatile is an overstatement. I am far from that." Ye Muyu replied with a smile.


Wang Chuan, understanding her modest nature, didn't continue with the compliments. Instead, he smoothly changed the topic "I came specifically to visit Third Brother Chu and Sister-in-law today. There is also a matter. I heard that Third Brother Chu is interested in buying a shop?"


"Do you happen to be interested in selling your shop?"


"Are you planning to sell your shop?" Ye Muyu was somewhat surprised.


Wang Chuan nodded, "I discussed it with my father. Although today's incident was just a reckless act by Lu Hu, I believe it's necessary to take some precautions."
