Chu Ziluo, although young, was nimble and quick. The two children didn't need Ye Muyu's help, so she went straight to the kitchen. She took the medicine jar and a clean container from the small stove.


First, she brewed the medicine and then used the free time to wash the container. She poured a whole bowl of milk into it.


The small stove burned with a big flame. Watching the milk boil in the container, she used a damp cloth to take the container down when it was done boiling.


Once the milk settled, she placed it back on the small stove for reheating.


She repeated this process four times until the milk was fully cooked.


Having divided the milk into four portions, there was still quite a bit left. She gave it to Hu Shi, saying, "Take the remaining to Zhang Cong and Nenya to drink."


"Madam, we can't accept this, it's too precious." A cow cost thirty to forty taels of silver and it was rare for a common rural family to buy one. After all, that amount of money could build two or three houses. 


Hu Shi declined, moved by Ye Muyu's generosity.


Ye Muyu pushed the bowl toward her. "This is for you, just continue with what I've given you. The two children need to be strong and healthy to help me in the future."


"Madam, thank you so much." Hu Shi was touched and even more aware of how good life was in the Chu family. She worked more meticulously and had no intention of going to work for other families anymore.
