Shu Yu and Meng Yunzheng exchanged glances, and he nodded. She immediately stood up, went to open the door, and stood behind Minister Jing.
Minister Jing neatly tucked the case files back into his robe and looked up at the person who brought the documents, asking, "What's the matter?"
"Master, this is new evidence for Gong Xiao's case. Please take a look," the person said.
Upon hearing this, Minister Jing narrowed his eyes, and Meng Yunzheng couldn't help but raise his head, sensing something unusual from both of them.

Seated on the court bench, Minister Jing raised his hand to silence her, and Madam Gong finally calmed down.
Minister Jing then started the trial, conducting it at a rapid pace due to the urgency. He didn't want to waste any more time on this matter.
Meng Yunzheng and Zhao Xi were brought in. Madam Gong still wanted to rush up and attack him, but she was held back by the guards.
Minister Jing presented the evidence and began questioning Gong Ya.
Though her face turned pale, Gong Ya clenched her teeth and refused to admit anything.
Minister Jing had dealt with many such people before. He knew that even if she didn't confess, it didn't matter. He had plenty of ways to make Gong Ya talk.
Upon hearing that Gong Ya was the murderer, Madam Gong froze in disbelief.
After Minister Jing explained the situation and had both Chen Shi and Dong Shi, as well as Dong Shi's elder brother, come forward, all her attempts to defend herself were futile.
At the age of only fourteen, Gong Ya finally broke down under the heavy pressure of the Great Court. She couldn't resist anymore and tearfully confessed after Chen Shi gave in.
