Chu Heng had already changed his clothes quickly, but while changing, his gaze kept falling on Ye Muyu from time to time.
He deliberately made loud noises, hoping she would look over.
But obviously, he was disappointed. Even after he finished changing his clothes, Ye Muyu didn't turn to look at him.
Just as Ye Muyu was lost in thought, Chu Heng's voice sounded, "Alright, Ah Yu, you change your clothes first, I'll go out."

She closed the window that was slightly open, then turned to take the clothes Chu Heng had picked out for her from the bed and changed into them.
She put the clothes she took off into the clothes basket on the side for easy removal when washing.
When Ye Muyu opened the door of the east wing room, Hu Shi came over, took the clothes from Ye Muyu's basket, and whispered, "Madam, after the master called for you and went to the study, he said he had something to tell you."
"This time, the master brought back a lot of specialty products, as well as some seafood, dried fish, dried seaweed, and some dried shrimp." Hu Shi quickly reported and then returned to the kitchen to continue her work.
She also soaked the clothes in the large wooden basin outside the kitchen.
Ye Muyu stood at the door of the study and knocked. After hearing Chu Heng's permission to enter, she pushed the door and went in.
There was only Chu Heng in the study.
Thinking of the intimacy they had just shared, Ye Muyu's expression was somewhat unnatural as she looked at Chu Heng, and their eyes met.
"I heard you were looking for me. Is there something wrong?" Ye Muyu asked.
Chu Heng looked at her carefully for a moment, but didn't notice any change in Ye
Muyu's emotions. He felt a little disappointed in his heart and hesitated for a moment before answering.
Ye Muyu thought he had something important to say, after all he had returned two days late this time which was not in line with Chu Heng's character, unless there was something difficult to deal with and he couldn't leave.
"I do have something to tell you." Chu Heng sorted out his emotions and looked at her, beginning to speak about the matter at hand.
"When you hear about this, don't get too excited."
Ye Muyu looked at him with a puzzled expression, not knowing what could make her so excited.
After Chu Heng finished speaking, he went straight to the point and said, "I found your elder brother."
"Elder... brother?" Ye Muyu paused for a moment.
Then her eyes widened suddenly, filled with surprise. "You mean, my elder brother Ye Zhao?"
"Is he alright?" Ye Muyu was somewhat surprised, but more relieved. If Ye Zhao was really alright and had come back, her mother wouldn't have to endure everything alone anymore.
Her sister-in-law and two children would also have a father. In the future, whether it was marriage or growing up, it would be smoother.
"Where is he? Has he already returned?" Ye Muyu quickly asked.
Seeing that she didn't show any signs of doubt or excitement, but instead asked calmly and methodically, Chu Heng couldn't help but wonder what could make Ah Yu lose her composure and appear anxious.
