Chapter 61: Suisui Gave Her a Kiss!
Nanny Nan couldn’t agree to shaving Lian Ruoyi’s head—this was a big deal! So she just smiled vaguely and turned back to continue her conversation with Physician Liu.
Suisui, being touched on her little head, didn’t resist and let Lian Ruoyi do as she pleased.
Feng Xuanrui, unable to stand it any longer, gently tapped Lian Ruoyi hand, reminding her, "Be gentle, gentle. My sister might get hurt."
Lian Ruoyi finally noticed, "Oh, oh, oh!" She responded, letting go of her hand and adjusting Suisui’s posture to take a better look.
Seeing Suisui’s little face so thin, Lian Ruoyi felt some pity, "Why are you so thin? Don’t you like to eat?"

Nanny Nan, overhearing, twitched her brows. If she were to say it, the last thing she wanted was for Lian Ruoyi’s sister to become overweight! But she couldn’t say that out loud, so she swallowed her words with difficulty.
Suisui, unaware of this, asked curiously about the sister at Lian Ruoyi’s house, "Is the little sister very heavy?"
Lian Ruoyi didn’t know exactly how heavy her sister was, so she gestured with her hands, "Maybe this wide, or maybe this wide?" After a while, she was still unsure and finally stretched her arms out, "Maybe this long?"
Though Suisui couldn’t understand the exact measurements, she thought it must mean that the sister was very strong and impressive. She clapped her hands, "Wow, your sister must be amazing!"
Lian Ruoyi was pleased with Suisui’s praise and nodded enthusiastically, "Right? I think my sister is really amazing too."
She then added, "Suisui, you’re just as wonderful as my sister! You’re both cute!"
Feng Xuanrui, overhearing, was dissatisfied, "How is that possible? My sister is the cutest in the whole city, no arguments!"
His sister was the most adorable in all of the capital, and no one could argue with that—even his father’s cane couldn’t change that!
Lian Ruoyi, although she liked Suisui, loved her own sister more. She wasn’t willing to lose and retorted, "My sister is the cutest, and Suisui is second!"
"My sister, my sister!"
"My sister is definitely the best!"
The argument between the two children escalated, sounding like a full-blown dispute among ten people, with their shouting echoing throughout the second floor.
Prince Qing, unable to tolerate the noise, frowned and glanced at them. Instantly, the children’s voices dropped.
Children’s arguments often circle around a few repeated words. They stopped arguing and started glaring at each other.
Feng Xuanrui’s eyes were wide and fierce, while Lian Ruoyi, feeling competitive, glared back more intensely. Eventually, the prolonged staring made her eyes water, and tears began to fall.
Seeing Lian Ruoyi cry, Feng Xuanrui panicked. He hadn’t meant to make her cry—he was just glaring, after all. Feeling guilty, he pulled Suisui into his arms protectively, worried that Lian Ruoyi's crying might distress Suisui further.
Witnessing this, Nanny Nan, who usually avoided intervening in children's quarrels, felt compelled to console Lian Ruoyi since she was crying. She had learned from experience that it was best to let children resolve minor conflicts themselves, but a crying child required immediate attention.
Feng Xuanrui felt awkward and guilty for causing the tears, especially since it was a young girl. He didn’t know how to handle it.
Seeing the beautiful sister crying made Suisui’s eyes tear up too, but she wasn’t as upset and didn’t intend to cry. She struggled out of her brother’s arms, went up to Lian Ruoyi, and gently wiped her tears, saying, "Don’t cry, Sister. Suisui will comfort you, okay?"
Though Suisui had never comforted anyone before, having only learned a little from interacting with Feng Xuanrui and some guidance from the system, she tried her best. She remembered how the system had comforted her and then tiptoed to give Lian Ruoyi a gentle kiss.
Lian Ruoyi, who had been wiping her tears, felt Suisui’s hand brush lightly against her face and then felt a soft kiss on her cheek. The gesture of affection was subtle and rarely seen even between mothers and older children.
Lian Ruoyi was stunned by the kiss and forgot her tears, looking at Suisui with a mix of confusion and surprise. After a while, she finally realized what had happened and gently touched her own face.
Suisui had kissed her!
Lian Ruoyi had never been kissed like this before, except by her mother. She wondered if being kissed meant that Suisui really liked, cared for, and cherished her. Was this what her own little sister would be like?
Realizing this, Lian Ruoyi couldn’t help but lean in and give Suisui a kiss on her little, thin face, saying, "Suisui, I’m giving you a kiss too!"
The two little girls suddenly started kissing each other, leaving the adults puzzled.
Feng Xuanrui, initially confused, was taken aback when Lian Ruoyi kissed Suisui. He had never been kissed like that by anyone, not even by his own sister!
Fuming, he felt a mix of jealousy and embarrassment, wondering if he should pull Suisui away and get a kiss for himself. But he felt it would be too humiliating and seemed like he was being compared to Lian Ruoyi.
Feeling torn, he decided not to pursue it but felt he was missing out.
After receiving the kiss and feeling the warmth from Lian Ruoyi, Suisui asked cautiously, "Is Sister still upset?"
Lian Ruoyi, feeling much better, waved her hand dismissively, "Not upset anymore, not upset at all."
Not only was she not upset, but her heart also felt a bit sweeter. She proudly looked up and saw Feng Xuanrui glaring at her like a little lion.
Seeing his angry expression made Lian Ruoyi even more pleased, as if saying, "Look, I have something you don’t. Hee hee, hee hee!"
