At the back door of the yamen, an inconspicuous carriage was seen. Two cloth bags were carried inside in succession. Sitting in front of the carriage were two unremarkable middle-aged men. The carriage quickly left the yamen.

Inside the carriage, one of the cloth bags made a muffled sound as it was cut open by a sharp knife from the inside.

Three days ago, after she learned that she had to go to the yamen, she had asked Lu Sangqi to prepare some antidotes.

"Get down and check the carriage."

The two men driving the carriage looked at each other. One of them got down from the carriage and spoke to the nearby soldier with a smile on his face.

The other man quickly pressed a button on the carriage. Inside the carriage, both of them dropped into a compartment underneath.

The man opened a corner of the curtain and took a look, confirming that the carriage was clean with nothing inside. He then jumped down from the carriage.

Seeing this, the man who got down from the carriage first laughed and stepped aside.
