Chapter 372: Revealing the Truth About His Background - Yun Zhao Recognizes His Parentage (2)

Yun Zhao was so excited that he couldn't speak. From today onwards, he had a godfather and family. He no longer had to wander rootlessly, feeling lost and helpless!

Zhen'er also joined the excitement. He wrapped his arm around Yun Zhao's shoulder, eyes smiling, "Hehe, I'm no longer the youngest. Now I get to be a big brother! Zhao, come on, call me 'big brother'!"

Unexpectedly, Yun Zhao, with a sly smile, shook his head and said, "I forgot to tell you, Zhen'er, I was born in January, two months older than you. So, you should be calling me 'big brother'."

"You're lying!" Zhen'er glared, pointing at him angrily, "You said before that you were born in April. How can you be older than me?"

"This, um..."

Yun Zhao scratched his head, unsure how to explain. Initially, to gain Zhen'er's sympathy, he had deliberately claimed to be a few months younger. Now, if he told the truth, Zhen'er would probably be mad at him for a long time.

Seeing that Yun Zhao couldn't come up with a response, Zhen'er smiled again, patting his shoulder, "You'd better just be the younger brother. Don't worry, your big brother will look after you!"

Yun Zhao couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time, looking hopefully at his godfather for intervention. However, Mo Qingze just smiled at the two boys, showing no intention of getting involved.

Yun Zhao had no choice but to shake his head, looking at the beaming Zhen'er, and finally conceded to fulfill his wish of being the big brother, "Alright, you'll be the big brother, and I'll be the little brother!"

"Haha, I'm a big brother now! Finally, I get to be the big brother!" Zhen'er was overjoyed, his smile growing wider. Then, remembering he was now the elder brother and needed to be mature, he restrained his silly grin and, imitating Mo Yan's tone when she talked to him, patted Yun Zhao's head and said, "Good boy, Zhao'er."

Struggling to suppress the urge to brush off the hand on his head, Yun Zhao turned away with a blank face, not wanting to talk to this clearly silly "big brother."

Mo Qingze laughed heartily at the warm interaction between the two little boys, feeling relieved. He had been worried that Zhen'er might not be happy about the new arrangement and embarrass Yun Zhao, but it seemed his concerns were unnecessary.

Having recognized Yun Zhao as his godson, Mo Qingze couldn't leave out his biological sister, Yun Sheng. When Yun Zhao found Yun Sheng, he told her about it and asked for her opinion.

Due to their birth father's unkindness, Yun Sheng had no fondness for the term "father." However, seeing the warmth between the Mo family father and son, she deeply longed for such a bond.

Now that her brother had a godfather, she was both surprised and hopeful, agreeing without much hesitation. She then followed her brother to Mo Qingze, respectfully kowtowing three times and calling out crisply, "Godfather."

Yun Sheng, only five years old, was still a small, soft bundle, and her sweet and endearing manner reminded Mo Qingze of Mo Yan's childhood. He couldn't help but scoop her up, tossing her into the air with a hearty laugh.

Yun Sheng felt a bit scared at first, but being caught securely by strong hands made her happy, and she couldn't help but giggle.

Seeing his constantly laughing sister, Yun Zhao felt immense gratitude for meeting the Mo family. He clenched his fists tightly, silently vowing to become strong—not for revenge against those who wronged him, but to protect this newfound family that meant everything to him and his sister.

Mo Yan hadn't expected that within one meal, she would gain a younger brother and sister, but she didn't mind. Firstly, she trusted this was a decision her father had carefully considered, and secondly, the Yun siblings had impeccable character, so she wasn't worried about any trouble they might bring.
