Wang Jiayi suddenly felt anxious. She couldn't even find a way to piece everything together in such a short time, let alone her maid withstand the interrogation. To her despair, Shu Yu immediately asked Yao Bo to take her maid to another room for questioning.
Wang Jiayi tried to stop them, but she couldn't even signal her maid.
Yao An and Yao Hong also grew nervous. They wanted to follow, but Shu Yu stopped them, assuring them that with Yao Bo and Madam Yao handling the matter, Wang Jiayi wouldn't be wrongly accused but would not be able to deceive them either. They decided to listen to her and stayed back.

Yao Tianqing and Madam Yao had already gone to the adjacent room to watch Yao Bo interrogating Wang Jiayi's personal maid. They didn't notice Shu Yu's return.

Yao An's expression changed. He knew that Wang Jiayi's maid couldn't withstand the pressure and must have confessed about the source of the drugs. Furthermore, she might have revealed even more, exposing everything they knew.
His face darkened, and he was about to say something when Yao Tianqing stepped forward and slapped him hard.
