Sensing Chu Heng's increasingly aggressive gaze, Ye Muyu panicked and turned to crawl away.
Chu Heng's eyes darkened and he suddenly lunged forward. In the next moment, Ye Muyu found herself pinned beneath him, with the sound of his breathing in her ears, indicating their close proximity. "Ah Yu, do you like me?" he asked.
Ye Muyu felt flustered and embarrassed. Her entire body tensed up and she raised her hand to shield her face, lightly biting her lip. "I don't like you. Please let me go, or... or I'll scream."
Chu Heng looked at Ye Muyu's blushing cheeks revealed beneath her hand. Her pink, tender ears were incredibly adorable. In the dim light, they seemed particularly enticing... His Adam's apple bobbed up and down and the string of rationality in his mind instantly snapped.
His eyes softened and he buried his head in her neck, lips slightly parted as he gently nibbled on her tempting ear.
"Ah..." Ye Muyu trembled all over, startled by his sudden intimate contact.
After uttering a soft cry, she quickly covered her mouth, her eyes misty. She reached out to push Chu Heng away but through the thin fabric of their clothes, she felt his scorching hot skin.
"Chu Heng, don't... don't..."
Feeling his warm tongue dominating her ear, Ye Muyu instinctively tried to evade, but Chu Heng firmly grasped her hands. His handsome face rubbed against her cheek, his voice husky. "Ah Yu, don't reject me, okay?"
"No... I can't..." Ye Muyu finally regained some rationality, but she was overwhelmed by his scent. She realized that she didn't actually dislike it but the unknown aspect of it made her eyes moist. "I'm scared."
Chu Heng's entire body tensed for a moment, then he relaxed, holding Ye Muyu tightly. Finding her lips, he lightly pecked them, his voice gently coaxing, "Don't be afraid. I won't do anything to you. Can I just hold you and kiss you?"
Ye Muyu breathed a sigh of relief. She trusted Chu Heng, and feeling his lips on hers, she slowly opened her eyes.
Before her were Chu Heng's well-defined features, usually quite serious, but now softened.
Perhaps Ye Muyu's gaze was too obvious, as Chu Heng suddenly opened his eyes wide. There was a hint of cunning in his dark eyes but at this moment they were filled with joy.
He smirked slightly. "Ah Yu, you're not serious. It seems I haven't performed well enough."
Without waiting for Ye Muyu's response, he intensified the kiss.
Ye Muyu felt as though she was being devoured by him. His lips pressed against hers and she could even sense a hint of gentleness amidst his dominance.
But at this moment she had no room for thought. Her mind was filled with the sound of her heartbeat and she had lost all resistance.
Chu Heng felt Ye Muyu's obvious lack of resistance and sensed her body growing even warmer.
"Thump, thump, thump..."
Fifteen minutes later.
The knock on the door by the Hu family's servant instantly brought Chu Heng back to his senses. He quickly grabbed the thin blanket beside him and covered Ye Muyu. Then he knelt up abruptly and asked, "What is it?"
"Master, the hot water for washing has been prepared. Madam said she wants to take a bath today." The servant, Hu Shi, whispered. She had just arrived and hadn't heard anything, but she guessed from the lit oil lamp that Master had just been covering Madam with a blanket.
"I understand. I'll be out in a moment."
After Chu Heng's response, Hu Shi left.
