Chapter 43: Waiting for the Rabbit
Chen Xue instructed her servants to move away and then took the carrot, walking towards a large tree. She dug a hole in the tree with her knife and placed the carrot inside.
After finishing, she dusted off her hands and waited for the bait to take effect.
Soon, rustling sounds came from the surroundings.
The servants quickly picked up thick branches from the ground, holding them cautiously while scanning the area.
Seeing the disturbance in the dense forest, everyone felt a bit nervous and subconsciously swallowed saliva.

It was a gray rabbit.
The rabbit was fast, hopping through the bushes, and then bouncing towards Chen Xue's direction.
