Towards the end of the letter, Liang Shi asked Shu Yu if the gift she gave for Da Niu's wedding was significant.

She also asked Shu Yu not to give the head ornaments directly to Da Bao when the time came, but rather to give it to her. She assured Shu Yu that she wouldn't be greedy and if Da Bao's future wife was filial and considerate, she would occasionally reward her with something.
Shu Yu read the letter in disbelief, and Grandmother scolded Liang Shi, "She's quite the schemer. Da Bao is only a few years old, and she's already planning for his future marriage?"
Shu Yu shared the same sentiment, and to make matters worse, Lu Sanzhu added a comment that seemed to echo the same idea.
Shu Yu couldn't help but think that this couple... their values aligned perfectly. No wonder they could live together happily. But it seemed that Da Bao's future wife would have a hard time.
