 Chapter 42: A Family Goes to the County town 

Shu Yu smiled as she watched San Ya, who was being cautious, and picked her up and placed her on the bed.

The little girl immediately burrowed herself into the thin blanket, revealing a pair of cute and happy eyes.

Shu Yu lay down beside her and whispered, "Did you tell your mother that you came over here?"

"Yes, I did," San Ya obediently nodded her head.

With that, Shu Yu felt relieved and gently patted her hand.

Shu Yu chuckled, "You're not going to sleep?"

"Second sister, I really like you," San Ya said.

Shu Yu raised an eyebrow in surprise. The little girl felt a little embarrassed, but still whispered, "I'm happy that you're my second sister, and my brother is happy too."

"I know, and I'm also happy that you're my little sister and brother," Shu Yu replied.

San Ya immediately smiled, and as she did, the scar on her face became more apparent.

Without thinking, Shu Yu reached out and touched the scar. The little girl's body suddenly stiffened and she shrank her neck, turning her face away, trying to cover up the scar. "Second sister, it's ugly."

"It's not ugly," Shu Yu comforted her. "Didn't I tell you before? We can get rid of that scar. Tomorrow, I'll go to the county and get some medicine from the pharmacy. Before you know it, San Ya will become a little beauty."

The little girl's eyes lit up at these words, "Second sister, I don't need to become a little beauty. You're already one." She quietly held Shu Yu's hand, feeling very content.

After a while, she raised her head again and whispered, "Second sister, can I go to the county with you?"

San Ya was already five years old and had never been to the county seat. The farthest place she had been to was the village where Da Ya got married.

She wanted to go to the county town with her second sister and also wanted to see her father and grandmother. If her father knew that her second sister had returned, he would definitely be very happy.

Shu Yu naturally had no objections, "Okay, not only you, but we will all go."
