Originally, Da Ya lived with the old lady before she got married.

The old lady cleaned up her own room for Shu Yu to live in. She took her bedding and went out, saying that she was going to live with the old head of the family.

The young man looked simple and honest, not daring to look at Shu Yu much. He sat on the cart, chuckled a few times, and only started driving the cart after everyone was seated.

On the road, many people were watching them. Many gazes were focused on Shu Yu, whispering and discussing something about her.

Shu Yu didn't mind and just asked about Lu Erbai's leg. Lu Erbai only said it hurt a bit, probably from yesterday's fall.

Although the ox driver didn't say anything, the speed slowed down. Shu Yu was surprised. This person seemed quiet, but was actually attentive.

When the group arrived at the county town, it was already midday and the whole town was bustling.

Following the address they had asked about, they arrived at the clinic of Doctor Xu.

It was called a clinic, but it was actually a very small shop. Inside were only Doctor Xu and his apprentice, and a whole row of medicine cabinets on the wall, which looked quite spectacular.

Shu Yu felt relieved, and the old lady was even more angry. "That Yan Langzhong has indeed harmed people."

Doctor Xu was not interested in listening to her scolding and asked directly, "Will you treat him?"

The old lady looked at Shu Yu. After all, it was her money.

"Of course we'll treat him!" Shu Yu nodded without hesitation.
