Previously, Shu Yu also believed in this way. She tried hard to win her biological mother's approval and always behaved obediently without crying or causing trouble, but it was all in vain. aunt Xue only grew more disgusted with her and not only physically abused her but also verbally humiliated her.

Now, everything made sense to Xiao Shu.

As she watched her family members leave, Xiao Shu quietly snuck to the shore and climbed out of the lotus pond.

Shu Yu smiled, returned to her own courtyard, changed into clean clothes, packed a few inconspicuous things, and then went out through the main gate of the Shu family, which she was quite familiar with.

By now, the sky was just starting to brighten and there were a few pedestrians on the road.

In fifteen minutes, the East Anfu City Gate would open, and Shu Yu planned to leave the city.

The Shu family wouldn't be able to find her body tonight and would definitely secretly send people to search for her. However, the Shu family was too preoccupied with their own problems now. The things she said last night were enough to cause chaos in the Shu family for a while.
