Chapter 90: Night Before the Divorce the Villainous Family Can Hear My Thoughts!

Chapter 90: Huo Yunshan, Are You Keeping a Mistress?

Sister Jin, a tall, sturdy woman in her fifties standing nearly 1.8 meters, arrived dressed in basketball attire, clearly having rushed over straight from the gym.

“Bro, they’re the current occupants. They’re claiming the villa is theirs!” Old Chen said helplessly.

“Huo Yunshan?” Sister Jin walked up to him, her gaze filled with contempt. “This villa is yours?”

Huo Yunshan’s lips twitched involuntarily, and he instinctively took two steps back.

Though taller than Sister Jin by a few centimeters, he couldn’t match her imposing presence.

This woman was infamous in Tongcheng for her fiery temper. She wasn’t just feared by women—even men kept their distance.

She was a basketball coach with stamina and strength far exceeding the average person.

Oh, and Huo Yunshan remembered something else: a year ago, she caught her husband cheating.

This fierce woman had blocked the pair at their hotel room door. Instead of hitting the mistress, she focused all her fury on her husband.

With each slap, she asked, “Was your little picnic tasty?”

By the time she was done, the man’s face was so swollen even his own mother wouldn’t have recognized him. It resembled nothing less than a pig’s head.

Afterwards, she shredded both their clothes to tatters, leaving each with nothing but a pair of underwear.

Yes, just underwear. She didn’t even spare the mistress’s bra.

Then, she canceled all of her husband’s credit cards, checked the couple out of the hotel, and made sure the staff did a thorough room inspection in her presence.

Out of “kindness,” she purchased a hotel bed sheet for them to wear.

And just like that, the pair left the hotel wrapped in bed sheets.

The ultimate outcome? The man left the marriage penniless, and she pursued every cent he had spent on the mistress over the years, leaving the woman with nothing but regret.

That incident had made waves across Tongcheng, and women everywhere applauded Sister Jin’s resolve.

Yu Fengcai, of course, knew all about this.

At the time, she’d scoffed, saying that woman was just incompetent. If she had consulted her, she wouldn’t have ended up broke and humiliated.

Now, standing before Sister Jin, an inexplicable sense of dread welled up in Yu Fengcai.

“Huo Yunshan, are you keeping a mistress too?” Sister Jin glanced at him coldly before casting a disdainful look at Yu Fengcai. “Tsk, tsk, tsk! Are you blind? Why would you keep an old hag like this?”

“You wretched—”

“Mom!” Yu Fengcai quickly shook her head at the old lady, then turned to Sister Jin with a bright smile. “Sister Jin, there’s been a misunderstanding. I’m Yunshan’s sister-in-law.”

“Sister-in-law, old hag, or mistress—what does that have to do with me?” Sister Jin snorted. “Now, get out of my house immediately!”

“You uncivilized wench! This is my house! If anyone needs to leave, it’s you!” the old lady bellowed, her face twisted in rage.

“Well, the police are here. Let’s see who the real troublemaker is.” Sister Jin retrieved the property deed from her car and thrust it toward Huo Yunshan. “Here, take a good look. Whose name is on this deed? Isn’t it Jin Meichan?”

“If you claim this villa is yours, then show me your deed!”

Both Huo Yunshan and Yu Fengcai leaned in to examine the document.

Their movements were so hurried, and their focus so entirely on the deed, that they didn’t notice how close they were—so close their heads were nearly touching, their cheeks almost pressed together.

The deed indeed listed Jin Meichan's name.

"If these two say there's no trickery involved, I won't believe it even if you kill me!" someone whispered.

"How can an in-laws be this familiar? Aren't they afraid of rumors?"

"This is probably just an instinctive reaction!"

People murmured quietly.

"Shameless deed!" The old lady suddenly lunged forward, snatching the document from their hands, ripping it apart. "I don't recognize this deed! This villa is ours! No one is taking it!"

With that, she threw herself onto the ground. "Oh my! They're hitting me! They're stealing my house! Is there no law left? Are they trying to kill me?"

"Throwing a tantrum, huh?" Sister Jin looked at Huo Yunshan with a half-smile. "Huo Yunshan, did I lay a finger on her? Does this deed mean nothing now?"

"Well, the police are here, so let's settle this properly! Let's see who is right!"

"Mom, stop making a scene!" Huo Yunshan was at his wit's end, embarrassed by his mother’s behavior in front of so many people and police.

How was the deed useless?

If throwing tantrums worked, what would the law be for?

This wasn’t something that could be resolved just by tearing the deed.

He shot a look at Yu Fengcai, signaling her to take the old lady away so they wouldn’t make a further spectacle of themselves.

Yu Fengcai quickly tried to calm the old lady, signaling to Huo Yuyan to follow them.

The three of them understood the situation and walked toward the car without further embarrassing themselves.

Huo Yunshan took a deep breath and forced a smile at Sister Jin. "I apologize, Sister Jin. My mom is old and doesn’t understand some things. I’m sorry for her behavior."

"Don’t take it personally. I just want to ask, where did this deed come from?"

"This villa was bought with my hard-earned money. What do you mean, where did it come from?" Sister Jin said angrily.

"Then, Sister Jin, who did you buy it from?"

"How? You’re claiming the villa is yours? Don’t tell me you don’t have the deed?"

"Huo Yunshan, don’t tell me you’re illegally occupying someone else’s villa!"

"I don’t care what kind of relationship you had with the previous owner. This villa is mine! And I’m not welcoming you! Now, get out!"

"Old Chen, hurry up and move the old furniture out! I need to get a renovation crew in, don’t delay my schedule!"

Old Chen quickly nodded, "Got it, got it! Everyone, hurry up, don’t delay Sister Jin’s work!"

No one paid attention to Huo Yunshan anymore. They all continued their work in an orderly fashion. Even the police were politely seen off by Sister Jin.

Huo Yunshan stood there, stunned, watching Old Chen and the others move the furniture in and out.

"This can’t be happening! This is our home! We can’t let them take it away!" The old lady wailed from inside the house.

Yu Fengcai was also unwilling to accept it.

They had lived in this villa for over ten years—it had sentimental value to them!

"Yunshan, what should we do now?" She walked up to him, looking helpless.

Huo Yunshan snapped out of his stupor. "I’ll call Wen Yintong."

Yes, he suddenly remembered. This villa was under Wen Yintong's name.

Years ago, when he brought Yu Fengcai’s family to Tongcheng, it was Wen Yintong who had offered them the villa to stay in.

But after that, they never followed up to ask if Wen Yintong had transferred the villa to Yu Fengcai’s name.

They had always assumed it was transferred.

Could it be... it wasn’t transferred after all?

"Hello?" Wen Yintong answered the phone quickly.

"Did you sell the villa at Xishui Bay?" Huo Yunshan yelled angrily.
