In the pitch-black and cold prison, the long corridors appeared eerie, illuminated only by flickering candlelight. Weichi Che lazily made his way to a dimly lit room and the guards immediately knelt when they saw him.
"General!"
"Hmm." Weichi Che nonchalantly replied taking a step inside.
The three people bound to the torture platform saw him and their faces filled with extreme fear. They started pleading desperately.
"General, please spare us!"
Spare them? Weichi Che raised an eyebrow and his eyes gleamed with bloodthirsty and chilling light. He was in a good mood today and he could have spared them under other circumstances. But it was their misfortune that they had crossed paths with his Yanyan. How could he allow them to go free?
He accepted a dagger handed by a nearby guard, walked up to Elder Physician Li and placed the cold blade against his face, leaving a long trail of blood.
"General... General... Please spare me, I haven't done anything!" Elder Physician Li quivered in fear tears and snot streaming down his face.
Seeing his filthy appearanc Weichi Che couldn't help but frown. "You haven't done anything? You've done plenty." he said. Weichi Che slowly moved the dagger to Physician Li's eye. "With these old and hazy eyes of yours have you been ogling my wife's face? How's that? Do you like what you see?"
"I was just checking the wound on General's wife." Physician Li stammered in response.
Before Physician Li could finish his sentence, Weichi Che ruthlessly stabbed the dagger into one of his eyes and a heart-wrenching scream filled the entire room. Everyone was shocked but quickly regained their composure.
"You were just checking the wound? Do you think I'm blind and couldn't see the desire in your eyes when you looked at my wife?" Weichi Che spoke coldly. He then removed the dagger and stabbed it into Physician Li's other eye.
A short and desperate cry echoed as Physician Li's body went limp, blood oozing from his wounds. It was clear that he was on the verge of passing out.
"Get some water."
"Yes, General!" A nearby guard brought over a bowl of water. After Weichi Che took it he grabbed Physician Li's hair and forced him to look up.
The red pepper water poured down the eye wounds and Physician Li let out a hoarse and agonizing scream, turning the entire torture room into a scene from hell.
"Awake?" Weichi Che handed the water bowl back to the guard and asked with a half-smile, half-sneer "Since you're awake, let's settle the score for your wandering hands on my wife's face."
"Weichi Che... you... you devil..." Physician Li gasped, showing his bitterness and hatred without reservation. "I curse you, may you never win the heart of the one you love in this lifetime."
Weichi Che hesitated for a moment and then became even more frenzied. He lifted his hand and drew the guard's sword from his waist, severing Physician Li's hands.
Without a whimper, Chief Physician Li gasped his last breath.
"He got off cheap. But he thought he could get some satisfaction by uttering such words before he died." Weichi Che sneered.
He then took an insignia badge from his waist and handed it to a nearby guard. "Elder Physician Li along with his entire family of 43 should be eliminated without exception. Leave no one behind, not even a chicken or dog."
"Yes, General!"
