After Hu Shi and Luchuan left, they came in to clean up the dishes.


"Madam, this morning I plan to go with the men from our family to harvest the last batch of vegetables. Once we dry them, the remaining vegetables will only be for our family to eat and for seeding." Hu Shi said. 


Now is the time to eat the vegetables, as they are ripe and won't last much longer. Making them into dried vegetables is also a good option for the winter.

"Who is it?" Ye Muyu put down the scissors and asked.


"It's Master Chu Sheng."


This was the first time Chu Sheng had come here. Ye Muyu wondered what had happened. She asked, "Did he say what it was about?"


"He said his mother has returned and asked for you immediately."


"Okay, I got it." Ye Muyu got up and instructed Hu Shi "Hu Shi, please collect all this oil-paper cloth for me. I'll leave dinner to you tonight. I'll go over and take a look."


"Madam, please go ahead. There are servants at home." Hu Shi said as she got up.


Zhang Shu followed Ye Muyu to the old house.


Ye Muyu didn't bring the two children. Chu Ziluo wanted to come along but she was refused by Ye Muyu.


Chu Sheng walked beside her. Because he wasn't familiar with his third aunt, the half-grown boy didn't know how to start a conversation and could only lower his head and walk forward.
