"Eating steak?"
"Yes."
He had never taken care of a girl so considerately, acting on both conflicting instincts and intuition.
Seeing her handling Western cuisine quite well, he tested a few sentences in English, and she stumbled but managed to respond. He recalled that she had been taken abroad when she was fifteen, and that's where she had gained exposure to such things.
Sheng Mingsi pushed aside his thoughts and asked her, "Is it delicious?"
Jiang Chencheng didn't look up while eating. "Delicious."
"Do you want to eat this in the future?"
"I want to."
"Then study hard, and I'll bring you here."
"Okay."
Although she responded well, Sheng Mingsi remained less optimistic. The amount of knowledge that needed to be covered for her tutoring was substantial and presented a challenge.
After finishing the meal, they returned home.
In the car, Sheng Mingsi emphasized once again that she could only move around in the rooms assigned to her, and she couldn't wander into other areas.
"Even if you hear a noise from my room, you can't come in, understand?"
When he spoke about this, he sounded a bit harsh.
"Also, no more jumping from the balcony."
Jiang Chenchen obediently nodded, "I won't."
Upon arriving home and opening the door, a beautiful and bright figure was present in the living room, holding a cup of coffee with elegance.
Seeing them return, her eyes slightly widened, silently exclaiming, "Wow."
She stood up, tall at 1.72 meters, with a graceful figure. Carrying the coffee, she walked to the entrance, her gaze directly falling on Jiang Chenchen's face.
Suddenly, a realization struck, "So, it's you."
Jiang Chenchen looked at her without much reaction.
Gu Mingmei stared at her with her beautiful eyes, "Huh?"
Sheng Mingsi took off his coat, saying coldly, "Don't mind what she's called. What are you doing here?"
"You're doing this on purpose, aren't you? Look at how many times I called you!" Gu Mingmei stepped back to let them in, "I invited you to dinner this time, and you didn't come back. Mrs. Sheng was furious, and I suffered for it."
She walked to the sofa, sat down with a dignified posture, and sipped her coffee. During that time, her gaze kept glancing at Jiang Chencheng.
With an oval face, phoenix eyes, delicate features, and fair skin, standing at around 1.65 meters, she had a slender figure, a long neck, the perfect image of a delicate beauty. However, her expression lacked emotions, appearing somewhat wooden and lifeless.
In terms of appearance, she suited the role of a supporting actress in a new movie.
Seeing her sharp, wolf-like gaze, Sheng Mingsi couldn't hide his irritation. "Let me tell you, don't have any ideas about her."
Gu Mingmei frowned, "Hey, she's quite a good seedling!"
Sheng Mingsi poured himself a cup of coffee, "Since when did Huanyu Group need you to worry about these matters?"
Sipping her coffee, she said to Jiang Chenchen, "Drink some warm water and go upstairs to sleep."
Jiang Chenchen drank the water and went upstairs.
Gu Mingmei kept watching them, tutting while raising her eyebrows, "I have to worry about a lot! How can my small company under the banner compare with the big president Sheng?!"
Seeing the figure disappear around the corner, she blinked and smiled, "Your little girlfriend is quite obedient."
