He couldn't help but look at Ye Muyu a few more times. When Chu Heng sat down and gestured to start eating, the family finally began their meal. Chu Heng picked up a meatball with a spoon and tasted the deliciousness inside. His eyes showed an unconcealed surprise. He suddenly turned to look at Ye Muyu and the suspicion in his eyes couldn't dissipate. Doubts arose in his heart again. Ye Muyu had known that this man would doubt but she couldn't treat herself well with good ingredients and not make the flavors better. After all it would be unfair to herself right? Besides she couldn't keep hiding her true skills. If this continued, it wouldn't be her anymore. "What's wrong? Does it taste good?" Ye Muyu smiled lightly, seemingly very satisfied. Chu Heng followed her words and asked "It's not bad. I remember your cooking skills weren't that great." "Exactly because they weren't good, I deliberately learned cooking on a daily basis. Every time Mom came, she taught me cooking skills. You weren't at home, so you naturally didn't know about the improvement in my cooking skills. Next time you come back, my cooking skills will probably be even better." Ye Muyu shifted the blame onto Chu Heng not being at home. Seeing Chu Heng's doubtful eyes, she wasn't surprised. There were loopholes to be found. That's why Ye Muyu boldly didn't hide her skills. They only spent three days together every three months and they didn't correspond by letter. No matter how close their relationship was, their understanding was limited. Chu Heng, however didn't dispel the doubts in his heart. He couldn't help but retort her words "In the future, I also hope that my mother will come over when I'm home. Otherwise, as the master of the house, I won't have the opportunity to entertain my mother which would be a shame." Ye Muyu knew very well that his words were mocking Ye Wushi for not daring to come over.
